Cross Country Summer Practice and Camp Information

Cross Country Meeting for 2018

Attention all FHS Cross Country runners and parents, there will be an athlete meeting for all interested in running Cross Country in the fall right after school on June 7, 2018 in the FHS cafeteria. Parents are invited to an informational meeting on Thursday, June 7 in the Lecture room at 7 pm.  

Fenton’s Jesse Anderson places 20th at Boston Marathon

Congratulations to Fenton’s Jesse Anderson on his 20th place finish of the Boston Marathon today!  Jesse, a Fenton graduate and current Varsity Head Coach for Fenton’s Cross Country teams and Assistant Coach for the Fenton Track and Field team crossed the line is 2:29:19 (average 5:42/mile). The Fenton Girls Cross Country team undertook the potentially daunting task of competing at the state’s deepest race on Saturday – the Division 1 state meet at Michigan International Speedway. Coral Lefever Named The State Bank Athlete of the Week – Cross Country – Oct 23

Girls Cross Country – Fenton – Coral Lefever Coral, a Freshman, was the all-important 5th runner on a Fenton squad that booked their first ever trip to D1 state meet by finishing 3rd at their Regional at Hess Hathaway Park Saturday in Waterford. Coral ran a near-PR time of 20:35 on a challenging course to close out Fenton’s scoring

Girls Cross Country – Fenton – Kaitlin Bayer Kaitlin, a Freshman, ran a clutch race at the Metro League Championships. She achieved her highest league finish of 9th place, in 20:24 on a tough course. She was the Lady Tigers’ 4th runner, and gave Fenton a huge lead by beating all but one other team’s 2nd runner
