The Fenton-Linden Heat completed their regular and Metro League seasons with a visit to Holly-Brandon in Girls Varsity Lacrosse. A victory for the Heat would complete their third consecutive Metro Championship and third consecutive PERFECT (6-0) Metro Season. Our girls responded to the challenge, scoring 13 unanswered first half goals on 23 shots. Goalkeeper, Kyle Bliss saved all 5 shots she faced and was replaced by Katylyn Couch in the second half. Couch stopped 7 of the 12 shots fired in her direction as the whole team got involved in the 17-5 victory. Final Regular Season Record is 8-5.

Minna Ramirez, 4/0; Sarah Reuschlein, 3/0; Lilly McKee, 2/0; Kelly Kemp, Lara Kemp, McKenzie Gormley, Korryn Smith, Leah LaDrew, Trinity Isenbarg, Maggie Cates, and Emilee Guertin had one goal apiece. Jessica Lynch, Brie Sanford, and Lydia Anderson each had one assist.
The Heat will play next Wednesday or Thursday and will face the winner of the Pre-Regional game between Oxford/Lake Orion.
